Cromogenia stood out in Chengdu (China) at the celebration of the XXXVII IULTCS Congress.

Recently, the city of Chengdu has become the epicenter of the leather industry. Likewise, this important international event brought together more than 300 participants from different countries and regions. They shared knowledge and research on the central theme: “Innovations to make leather irreplaceable”.

Moreover, the congress featured a total of 47 papers presented from 11 different countries and regions. Consequently, the interest and diversity of approaches in leather industry research were evident. Additionally, 94 academic posters were exhibited, allowing attendees to explore various topics related to the sector.

 

In addition, Cromogenia’s team presented their work under the title “Exploring biodegradability of Leather: impact of tanning and finishing processes“.

This research seeks to understand and evaluate the environmental impact of leather tanning and finishing processes. Therefore, Cromogenia works through sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives, without compromising the quality and durability of leather.

As a result, the XXXVII Congress of IULTCS was a resounding success, bringing together experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest trends and advances in the leather industry.
