Sustainable Construction Based on Forest Bioeconomy
At Cromogenia Units, we’re proud to be part of a new sustainable construction paradigm through our participation in the ARBÔRES project: “Fully bio-based structural wood solutions to enhance forest resource use and promote sustainable construction”.
The project aims to develop innovative structural systems based on reconstituted wood (CLT and SCL), supported by 100% bio-based adhesives and coatings derived from agroforestry sources such as lignin and vegetable oils.
Our role focuses on the research and formulation of sustainable adhesives and coatings, essential for ensuring structural performance, long-term durability, and environmental traceability.
ARBÔRES also incorporates advanced digital tools such as the Digital Product Passport, supporting traceability, circularity, and the sustainable life cycle of buildings.
