At Cromogenia Units, sustainability is not a trend, it is the cornerstone of our strategy. In 2024, we took decisive steps to reduce our impact and transform the way we do chemistry. We have reduced our Scope 1 and 2 CO\u2082 emissions by 10%, aligning ourselves with the European target of cutting emissions by 40% by 2030. We have also promoted key projects such as the biomass boiler in Alcover and the installation of solar panels at our headquarters.
In the area of R&D, we are committed to solutions based on biosurfactants and renewable raw materials, with the goal of these products representing 25% of our sales in five years. In addition, we are reformulating our existing range to make it more sustainable and are working closely with our suppliers to advance the reduction of Scope 3 emissions.<\/p>\n

In 2023, we carried out the first carbon footprint calculation for Cromogenia Units (Spain), verified by APPLUS+. In 2024, we recalculated it, incorporating off-site plants and updating the data with the most recent information and emission factors.<\/p>\n
