CROMOGENIA-UNITS manufactures hydrotropes by–products from aromatic hydrocarbon sulphonic acid. These hydrotropes are used, in the manufacturing of detergents, as solubilizers of other compounds, used in the production of detergents, having an insoluble character. They act, besides, as viscosity modifiers agents of slurry before atomization and as turbidity reducers. A range of sulphonic acid based on toluene, xylene, cumene and phenol is also manufactured. It is apply in foundry as a phenol and furane resin catalyst, as well as an additive for mould make-up. In the chemical industry is used as catalyst in the manufacturing of plastifiers and resins for paint. And, finally, as a raw material in the production of certain pigments.
Alkyldipropionate. Effective cleaning hydrotrope and wetting agent in alkaline and acid formulations.
Hydroxyethyl-2-stearyl-imidazoline. Anti-static agent with good conditioning properties. In acid media, it shows good emulsifying and anticorrosion properties.
Hydroxyethyl-2-oleyl-imidazoline. Corrosion inhibitor, anti-static agent, lubricant, intermediate product for quaternizing.
Imidazoline derivative. Corrosion inhibitor in acid media. Base product for use in waterproofing products for cars, etc.
Alkenyl succinic anhydride for use in the paper, detergency and metal industries.
Sodium dioctylsulphosuccinate at 70% in a solution of ethylenglycol/water. It is highly effective at low concentration rates as a wetting agent and it is applied in all systems requiring a low surface tension.
Sodium dioctylsulphosuccinate. Highly effective all-purpose wetting agent. It is used in paints, leathers, textiles, cosmetics, detergents, polimerization, etc.
